I just heard a recording of the following words from George Bush--delivered in a speech to a university on April 20, 2004: "Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so." I wish I had an MP3 download of this quote. It has more impact to hear the words coming straight from the man who signed the Presidential Order to do exactly the opposite.
